Franschhoek Farm Magoebaskloof was bought by Butch Klinkert in 2017. The view from Eagle Owl House mesmerised us and gave us a feeling of calmness; it felt like we were perpetually on holiday.

The Magoebaskloof Mountains are at the very tip of the Northern Drakensburg Mountain Range in the breathtaking Limpopo Province. At the foot of these amazing mountains, you will find Alesia Escapes Self-Catering Cottages. Offering attractive Magoebaskloof self Catering accommodation for either romantic getaways, large family gatherings or a quaint and bespoke venue for a special celebration, our little piece of paradise will leave you wanting more.

The Scops Owl Cottage offers two beautiful bedrooms with either a twin or king size bed. There are also two sleeper couches, suitable for kids or young adults.  The cottage comfortably caters for four to six people.  Enjoy an evening under the stars around a glistening fire, listening to the nightlife our Magoebaskloof self catering has to offer.

The Wood Owl Lodge is an Eco friendly, fully off the grid, five bedroom house with three en suite bedrooms, two bedrooms sharing a bathroom.  The house is large and spacious with amazing views over the majestic mountains.  Enjoy a morning coffee at the breakfast nook overlooking the dam, mountains and picturesque scenery that Magoebaskloof has to offer.
